About Us

We are a family and Veteran owned business.

My family was in the food industry in Upstate New York for over 50 years. From the time I could hold a spoon, my mother had me in the kitchen helping her prepare our meals. By the time I was 12, I had learned enough to start working in our family-owned restaurant. I’ve done everything from bussing tables and washing dishes to preparing and serving food.

The vision I have for our business is for everyone to enjoy our delicious smoked meats and our sides, like our award-winning Smoked Bacon Jalapeño Mac N’ Cheese, “SBJ” (voted the best Mac N’ Cheese in Richmond, VA in 2022), where ever we are like various events, different venues, or even if its catering for your personal party or celebration! 

My wife, Sarah, is a native of Richmond, whose parents were both public school educators and active in the local community. She has recently graduated from Mary Baldwin University with a degree in Sociology. Her goal for our company is to be able to offer assistance to those in need and when possible, be involved with non-profits such as ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation. Supporting a cause that is very personal to her is one of her greatest joys as a small business owner. 

Together, we work to bring our lovingly prepared BBQ, as well as Brisket, Pulled Chicken, (and yes, even a Vegan Jackfruit for those who don’t eat meat or just want something different) and our sides for all to enjoy. Whether you eat your meal as quickly as we serve it up, or take it home to enjoy with your family around the dinner table, we know you’ll be happy! We just love to see all of your happy faces and positive comments after tasting our foods.
